Welcome to the website for Catholic Health Partners (CHP). We are a mission-driven, nonprofit health system meeting the healthcare needs of people in Ohio and Kentucky. We operate acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, housing sites for the elderly, home health agencies, hospice programs, wellness centers and other healthcare organizations.
Throughout CHP, we combine advanced medical technology and innovative healthcare treatment with a caring, holistic tradition that focuses on the whole person -- body, mind and spirit. In all that we do, we strive to advance the healing, caring vision of the women religious who established our hospitals long ago.
That inspiring vision is especially apparent in our commitment to continually improve the quality of care we deliver to our patients.
In addition, by emphasizing the use of evidence-based practices and the coordination of care after patients are discharged from the hospital, we have improved patient care while lowering healthcare costs.
We also place a high priority on giving back to our communities through
community benefit, which consists of programs that help more people access the healthcare they need, as well as programs that improve the health of communities – particularly the most vulnerable members of those communities. During 2011, the $345.7 million in community benefit that we provided placed us among the top quartile of Catholic health systems. We are also the largest provider of Medicaid services in the state of Ohio.
Moreover, as a large employer with more than 32,000 associates and as the fourth largest employer in Ohio, we are strongly committed to providing an
